The event consisted of nine matches. Three of which took place on the event’s pre-show.

- Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado won a six-man tag team match against TJP, Gentleman Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak in the first bout of the pre-show*

- The Revival defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in the second Kick-Off match*

- Bobby Roode successfully retained the WWE US Championship against Mojo Rawley in the third Kick-Off bout*

- AJ Styles beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a two-on-one handicap match to retain the WWE World Championship

- The Usos retained the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship in a 2-out-of-3-falls match against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. The winners went 2-0.

- Shinsuke Nakamura won the Royal Rumble match

- Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan to regain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

- Brock Lesnar kept the WWE Universal Championship by overcoming Braun Strowman and Kane in a triple threat match

- Asuka won the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match
